Location

The Google in Education California Summit will be in the heart of Silicon Valley at Sequoia High School on July 13 & 14, 2013Located just two blocks from downtown Redwood City, the school is a 10-minute drive from Stanford University and a 15-minute drive to the famous Googleplex, Google's corporate headquarters in Mountain View. Sequoia High School is a California Distinguished School, offering the International Baccalaureate Diploma and serving a diverse population of 2000 students. In 2012, Sequoia High School hosted a US Secretary of Education Arne Duncan for an edtech forum as part of the kickoff for his cross-country back-to-school bus tour. The beautiful and high-tech campus is an ideal location for a Google in Education Summit, and the planning committee is thrilled to produce the event hosted by a public school.

Redwood City is located in the Bay Area 25 miles south of San Francisco, and about 27 miles north of San Jose. Combined with a reputation as the business and industrial center of the Peninsula, Redwood City is becoming an entertainment destination as well. Theater, music, dance, cultural arts, and more make Redwood City an inviting community for the entire region, and beyond. To learn more about this beautiful city, visit the Redwood City offical community page.
