The first annual Ed Tech Team Central Coast Summit hosted by San Luis Obispo County Office of Education and Templeton Unified School District will be held at Templeton High School  in Templeton, California on March 7 & 8, 2015. The San Luis Obispo County Office of Education promotes student success by supporting the work of local school districts, delivering specialized student services, and providing countywide leadership and advocacy for the needs of all children. Templeton Unified School District, with 2,360 students, serves a rural portion of northern San Luis Obispo County and is situated between the cities of Atascadero and Paso Robles. Templeton High School serves grades nine through twelve with a total school population of 726 students and has been named by Newsweek magazine as one of America’s Best High Schools. Templeton Unified School District recognizes the important role technology plays in education as a daily tool tool to engage students and give them real world experiences to make them successful in their next endeavors. To that goal, the school has added approximately 1 device for every 2 students in the district over the last summer.
